How many affiliate links per page ?

How many affiliate links do you use per page ? I have 2 sites in same niche for a while now EMD both but one rank well and other doesn't. One rank well have less than 5 affiliate links in each page and other have around 10-12 affiliate links.

Looking at this from SEO point of view. We all know Google no longer like pure affiliate web sites they even had a crack down on affiliate blogs on their free blog platform blogger.com So How they would write off you from SERP as an pure affiliate site ?

I guess your EMD niche sites survived the recent algo. Well there are no such limits on number of aff. links per page but many people stick to atmost 3-4 links.

My niche blogs have mostly not more than 3 aff links. I have one blog with over 100 links and there is no problem with it.

Too many affiliate links gogle don't like. Though I am not working with any affiliate network currently, yet I will recommend you to use highest 1-4 links per page. If you have so many affiliate links it seems your site made for making money only

I am using no more than 3 affiliate links per page along with Adsense. Ad for as user point of view, too many affiliate links are banners must be avoided................Make a good content and then put your affiliate link in a Call To Action banner or text, you will get good CTR for your affiliate links.

I use 2 methods for this when I have more than 5 affiliate links to use. first thing is always better to "Nofollow" these affiliate links.

Also my other method is put all affiliate items in one page and link to that page.

Mine have a concept to put affiliate links on article. One link on the top, one in conclusion, and two is in middle text

This answer just like alot of seo isn't as straight forward as many people like to think.

Example: Link farming is a big "no no" when it comes to seo, but it is easy to find link farms in search engines if that is what you are looking for.

So if you had a blog where you reviewed products that you are affiliated with and placed the affiliate link along with quality, quantity content and that was what people search for, it wont really affect your chances of being found.

But I would use the re="nofollow" tag to let search engines know it is advertising or that you dont endorse the link

The other thing to keep in mind is that you should have less then 100 links per page, this includes internal links.

yoursitessuccess.com/checkpagelinks.htm can help you see how many links you have on each page

I tend to use about 2 to 5 affiliate links per page. But what I do is redirect the affiliatelink behind subdomains that I quickly create in my hostgator account. I believe that helps better SEO than a naked affiliated link.

According to me you should add 3-5 affiliate links per page. Also you should also add nofollow attribute to those links so that Google does not delete your page.
Rank on Google ** Buy PBN Backlinks **[Low OBL |Premium Quality]

Not sure if Google would go so far as deleting a page for that reason, perhaps rank it lower. Is there some type of report or algo update you seen on this?
