Through image, we can optimize using 3 or 4 terms only. Like, image size, unique images, image URL and image name.. publish images in social media and image sharing sites(pinterest, photobucket and so on). thats enough..
I also noticed that if you have an image hosted on site1.com/img1.jpg and use it in site2.com with img src="site1.com/img1.jpg" also helps! Titles, alt and proper file name helps too! Also the authority of your domain is really important.

keyword in alt tag is enough and i prefer to keep image name same as alt tag!
