How unique should an article be?

I just started out with chiefspinner, but I'm wondering how unique (in terms of %) should an article be. I currently get a 60 percent unique rate, with the settings on ''4 words''. Will this be alright?

as unique as possible, usually when I write an article I might read something in a book, close it and write my article, because everytime I use a reference to remind me, I think its kind of copying.

It really depends are you using the article to build links or as content. If you using it as content 100% unque is important or seo and people buying at your site. If it is seo I would recommend 40 to 6o percent . You won't get hurt by google if 60% unque.

Where you will put that spinned article? If it’s for your blog main content, then I didn’t recommending you to use spinned article. I prefer rewritten article for my blog content. But if it’s for article submission (backlink), I think more than 60% is more than enough.

You are right, but you also need to make your article content different, about 40-60%. This will be ok.

I don't think copying some ideas will hurt you, just stay away from article spinners.

An article should be unique in content, idea should suite to what is the subject of the title. Uniqueness comes with the quality and how the keyword use in the sentence.

in today's time, I think if you work on an article to be unique in all aspects, it is better. but I think the effort being put in by an SEO person, it is not that much as after sometime you find people copying it spinning it and make similar ones.

As unique as it can be..... nowadays there are a spinners that can produce 'copyscape pass article' but you just need to recheck the grammar and the sentence correctly, if not your article is just rubbish, and people can make laugh of it

Make it your own ideas and thoughts too, Fair enough most content around a topic will be out their but you cant have the same opinions to the creator of that article. How do you know that where you got the idea from wasn't copied from somewhere else?

yes that's the best thing you should do, what point of copying 100% someone's work?? at least alter it and change it to look as natural as it can be

If you want to keep away from panalization then i will say it should be atleast 10% unique but always keep in mind that never spinn an article more then three times because it could be harmful for your website and keywords ranking position.
