In addition all SEO beginners should read Google webmaster guidelines. It is a perfect way which seed for the ethical SEO work.

the article is good. but maybe we should start on the different jargons. seo has a lot of languages new to us.

I have read these rules and information somewhere before but something which i am missing mainly on optimization done to complete in my information about it. Great help.

Beginners can also go to Seomoz and check out their 'Beginner's Guide To Seo', which is an in-depth tutorial explaining all the basics of search engine optimization. Apart from this, there's a whole lot of other helpful Seo resources on the site.

Hmm, i dont think that is a very good step by step, seomoz, good webmaster tutorial are better place to start.

Great guidelines there. But I don't often read those things, there are some useful points there, but not all. SEO means practices, not theories.

-- On-page SEO
- main keyword use in title tag and meta description
- page content less then 500 word, keyword density not more then 3%. page content is fresh and informative.
--Off-page SEO
- Identified additional page on your website that can also be optimized for targeted keywords.
- LINK BUILDING
- always want quality instead of quantity

Thanks for reply, After completing first five steps go for link building but its not only link building quality link building and for link building first you must be update your site with fresh and informative content. Then do search engine submission for your site. After this submission do more for link building means Article submission, Directory submission, Other blog posting, Blog commenting, Forums posting etc..

SEOMOZ SEO for beginner is much more better.
