What is viral content??? i heard about viral blogs etc but it seems like new strategy, so if any of you know in detail or little knowledge about that. Please share it

Viral is about something that spreads like a virus, "infecting" people in a verry short period of time. It can be a YouTube Funny Video, News, Jokes or a Paparazzi Photo. The best and ultimate example is "Angry Birds".

I agree. When it first came out it took the web by storm and its all over now. Its more or less an idea that you use either on a site or a video that gets everyone's attention and has them all linking back to your site / page where the idea (content) is.

If some content goes viral the results can melt servers. A gentleman on a web editor forum has a non-commercial authority site in the aviation niche. He told of putting up some new content that went viral resulting in over three million visits to the page within a week accompanied by complaints from his hosting company.

they are basically type of content describing the all blogs and the matter in detail

Essentially there are 2 types of viral content, user generated viral content and viral content from a business standpoint. From the standpoint of user generated content, “viral” simply means something that gets a lot of views, reads, clicks, etc. But from a business standpoint there needs to be something more, it needs to be business oriented. There needs to be a reason to get the views, clicks, reads, etc. The reason for this is usually to increase brand awareness, product sales, new users, etc. Simply creating a video entitled “Dog versus Polar Bear,” is meaningless from a business standpoint.

I just simply say that The popularity of Facebook is just viral.................So just add content to viral now to understand a popular content getting tons of visitors per day. I would say as Wink said in millions

Content going viral is definitely not over now. Viral content can get you a quick amount of links in a short period of time, it just needs to be something worth linking to. I saw a video of some birds in a murmation the other day and it was all over the web in a couple of days. Those links are juicy and high quality and you would be surprised what it does for your rankings.

then how will i do it for content? content submissions or content bookmarking?

If you write interesting stuff about your niche... you have to be creative and you need to know intimately your target readers.

so its like linkbuilding? where you promote a certain content/article to any pages of the web.

Viral content is something easy to say but easy to make. You need to make article with popular topic but in different way. My idea is to make controversial article with eye-catching title.
