Is there any difference between Cloaking and Doorway Pages?

Cloaking is one form of Doorway pages.
Doorway pages redirects the user from search engine result page to the other page where as in cloaking different pages are displayed to search engine and user.

In Doorway pages, the link is given to a site without having any quality.

Cloaking is a method of creating two contents one for the users and the other one is for the search engine.Its a sort of making the search engine fool.

Plz elaborate me because i have read all over the internet that website's page provide you another the original page where you have to move or which one you were searching for. does that page has no relevance to the page whose link is placed on the page.

Doorway pages: These are pages that regular visitors cannot see, but search engine spiders can. They are used to trick the search engines so that the site gets a higher ranking. Not only do they go against the rules, but they also hurt the visitor's experience.

clocking refers to the practice of presenting different content or URLs to users and search engines.

Both are black hat seo techniques.

For me both are spamming technique use for website with higher search engine ranking quickly.

I disagree with you....you can also keep it as alternate of 301 redirection..yeah it's another thing that Google always loves 301 redirection but Cloaking and Doorway also do the same...

link cloaking is not considered a black-hat practice. Link cloaking has long been used by affiliate marketers to protect their 'affiliate links' from malicious scripts that search and replace links without site owners knowing. Cloaking protects your affiliate $$$.

Page hoarding or the practice of presenting 2 different content packages to SE's and visitors is black-hat but almost undetectable by Se's when done correctly.
