Best way/website to check Broken links and how can we know that which are the faults of the page.

If you use WebMaster Tools (Google) there will be a list of broken links that Google finds. There are also link checker scripts available.

You can check through google webmaster tools and also there is a tool to check broken links are xenu tool.
The faults of the page depends on your site..

Yeah, it is right that Google webmaster tools give hints about links that have any type of problems but thanks for providing the xenu tool.

You can also install the wordpress plug-in called “Broken Link Checker”. This plug-in will help you to detect broken link and automatically makes it “no index” for SEO purpose.

Yeah google webmaster tools, traffic travis, open site explorer. All of those will help you weed out broken pages etc.

There are a lot of online tools which help you to identify the broken links as well as to fix them, google webmaster tool is also very helpful in this case.

There's a neat plugin for self-hosted wordpress blogs known as "Slimstat" It gives in-depth analysis of how your being connected!

Me I use the Free Software from XENU.... just google it

m using webtolls of google, and my exp is very bad over 900 links are not define by robot.txt and 120+ pages are in 404 but when i chk all , all r working ?

Xenu is good for this as tell SeoBunny, but in CPanel (if Youo have installed in host) its defaoult tool for checking broken links too

900 links are not define by robot.txt

Do you have an xml site map?

You have to specifically disallow files or directories in the robots.txt document. If there is no robots.txt file or nothing is denied in the file bots will look at anything their little hearts desire. A sitemap.xml will list all of the urls on your site to make sure that bots can find them.

120+ pages are in 404 but when i chk all , all r working ?

Your server may have been down or overloaded when those pages were checked. How are the load times generally for your pages?
