Advantages/Disadvantages of 301 redirects? i wanna know complete overview about 301 redirect that in which circumstances this redirect favors to SEOs.

One major advantage of 301 redirection is that your backlinks and traffic will remain intact.

Other major benefit, you can get permanent redirects from websites like bit.ly

The only disadvantage I can see is its irreversible... Once you set permanent redirect on your pages you can't take it back, if you try to do so you are messing up whole thing.

Advantage of 301 redirection is to change or redirect your site permanently.

I think the disadvantage is the link-juice from original version will not pass fully to the redirected site...

When it will not transfer the link juice fully then how any webmaster recommend for it.
