Thread: key words at bottom of home page

I have noticed a lot of sites have a list of key words across the bottom of the home page.

Wondering if this helps with seo or is it a waiste of time. Personally im not keen on the idea as it looks untidy.

In start and bottom its always helpful because experts say that google crawler when crawl your site it gives importance the site content from start and then from bottom therefor its helpful and effective thing

Remember one thing, you are writing for real humans not for search engine bots. Google love those websites which are designed for users, just drop the idea of adding list of keywords at the bottom of page,,, It is next to keyword stuffing.

It is called link building which a link builder exchanges from other websites owner. Link exchange has many benefits as it help to improve Page rank and search engine rankings.

I would say it is beneficial to your visitors as it allows them to navigate your site without having to scroll all the way back up and in my experience it does help especially if they are internal links

Keywords as a H1 Tag in the Header Section can be very Strong!

I have noticed most of the sites are keeping the key words in the bottom of the page.They are working fine.Key word in header tag works fine as well as the the footer tag.Our motto is to use the key words.So, we can use the key words any where within the page.

Do you mean tags or links to other pages or just words? Keyword stuffing is frowned upon and if you get caught get ready to be penalized by Google.
