Does where the keyword in the title matters?

When creating the titles for your articles, does it matter where the keyword is in the title? I think I read somewhere that it's better to put the keyword right at the beginning and all the extra words after it. Is that true?

I use a variety of SEO plug-ins and always, always, always have your KW at the beginning of the title and <h1> tag and anywhere in the <h2> and <h3> tags. Same for the meta description.

I mean how long is your title? Why not just make the whole title just the keyword phrase is that is what you are optimizing for?

It's best to keep to 60 characters for the title. Check out visible. net or easy WP SEO plug-in or my service sales thread (can't post links yet)

Yes i think this strategy is good because if you can't prominent your keyword then you should not read an article because its could not be useful for you if you can't prominent your keyword.

The best title is one that grabs the readers attention and makes them want to read the article. If you can do that with your keywords near the beginning so much the better, but remember to always write for the human visitor not the search bot. Also remember that the article must fulfill the promise of the title, so if the title offers SEO strategy the article better offer some SEO strategy.

I agree with writing 'WOW' titles, but I believe that it's best to write for a bot first and the reader second. If the bot can't find your article then the reader won't either and can't be WOW'd.

Agree because many webmasters do this sort of mistakes a lot.

Yes, it matters, have your main keywords at the very start of your title.

I agree on that from A to Z
In the beginning of my IM and SEO journey I was all about search engines and visitors later if ever
But now I like to think that I'm smarter and with much more experience, so I do all things for the visitors FIRST and then only if there is a time and space I maybe do some tweaks for SEs, apart from standard MUST DO ON-Page SEO.
