Hello Raj, As a SEO specialist do you think 30 - 40 keywords per page will give you the better results. According to my experience, maximum of five keywords is enough for a page. More than five will be counted as keyword stuffing. The more less keyword you target per page, the more quick result you will get.

hy (rajkumar12) i think 3 or 4 keyword is better result in search engine in one web page its give you better result then 30 or 40 keyword....
Hello Raj, As john has mentioned above it is keyword stuffing which are black hat SEO technique, in this we you can't get good rank. Target only 3-4 keywords. Your site can be got penalized with 30- 40 keyword.
i think 3 - 4 is good
30-40 keywords per webpage? You got to be kidding!
Maybe what your boss meant is 30-40 keywords per website.
It will be better and easier for you to optimize a web page if you only use 1-2 keywords per webpage.
3-4 keywords are enough but these keywords should available in title and description also
According to me its depends on your web page content, how many words content you are adding on your website. As "minitar" & "usman12" said 3-4 keywords it is a basic criteria.
Have to agree with the comments above 1 main keyword with no more than 3 variations per service

I my point of view, 4-5 keywords are providing the better result than the use of 30 to 40 keywords in a one webpage because if you using many keywords for one web page that is keyword stuffing method. And then google penalize your website & decrease the ranking of the website.
30 to 40 keywords on one web page kidding na Try to target one keyword ( specifically if you are having 10 to 15 pages website) to your main domain and then 3 to 5 to your inner pages.
I target lots on the main page
Go for 3-4 keywords. If you will add more than that on a particular webpage, you won't be able to effectively optimize your site.
interpages i do 1 keyword
well 30 to 40 keywords per page to optimize is really a very tough job, as per my experience will all way focus single keyword per page.. if you try to optimize more keywords per page the back link ( link juices) coming to the targeted page will be diluted . and raj personally i want to know what kind of strategy you follow to optimize these 30 to 40 keywords per page?
If you're saying about putting keywords on the actual page then best advice is ZERO!
20-40 keywords you're going to a) get some penalty (or just never get any real rankings) for putting useless stuff in Google's search engine
b) lower down your website conversion rates
SEO isn't about onpage techniques it's all about offpage - link building. Do that
If you mean for how many keywords you optimize a page, then I usually optimze just the homepage, for 1-4 keywords.
It's very tough to optimize for that many keywords let alone for 40 keywords for every page.
WE ONLY NEED:
- 1x in title tag
- 1x in h1 or h2 title
- 1x in content
Websites can also rank without any content... only keyword in title tag...
If you dont believe I can show you a Proof!!!
WEBSITES RANK BETTER WITH ONLY 1 or 2 KEYWORDS IN CONTENT!!!
Unbelievable but its true.. I can show you many sources...
I think that base on the catalogy of your website. one catalogy one keyword
Never do over optimization. Only 2-3 keywords is enough in relevant content. Place keywords where it is necessary.
Targeting with Five Keywords per webpage is enough dude, by this we can increase our website visibility in search engines and easily to index. So don't do against the search engine guidelines otherwise they consider into spammy...
