Hello, i am running sea food business but the idea of email marketing was not that much worthy as much as i was aspect ed now i want to start my online business to take orders online and deliver in 20 to 30 minutes what way of marketing i should choose can anybody suggest me some good ideas

It's not really the right market for email marketing.

You'd have to do some serious SEO to rank first page of google for a few keywords or phrases and I'd recommend to focus on local marketing.
From your keywords or phrases it should be clear customers can order sea food online.

Possible keywords:

order sea food online in (your region/city)
sea food delivery (your region/city)

etc.

Also, look for other local food delivery services (or directories) and ask for advertising possibilities on their websites.
Just find contact details and send an email.

You really need to target LOCAL customers, I would submit your website to as many LOCAL directories or affiliates as you can. Find places to spread your links in relavent areas of the web. Make sure your website has unique content too! You may need to spend a little money on some LOCAL marteting techniques. Someone in NY won't order take-out/delivery in Europe, just saying.

But there are many things you can do for free.
1. A newsletter is free. And you will see that email marketing is working just fine when you send your offer to people interested in your services. Food delivery business is mainly impulse based. After your website is up and running, search engine optimized for keywords like econtinue said, (your city/) sea food, ask your website visitors for theyr email adress then send them your 10% off delivery offer / 20% off on Mondays.... and so on. The important thing is to send it to local email addresses.
2. Twitter. Search in Twitter #your_city / #your_area... and use this each time you post something.
3. Facebook and other sites alike.
4. Yellow Pages. Use services like Yellow Pages to find offices that might wanna use your food/delivery services, send them an email. You will get orders. From time to time an office needs a party.... you can deliver your food there and maybe offer them to organize the food/drink area.
5. Google Places. Is your Business there?
When you decide that you wanna spend a little more money, you can hire someone, an online or maybe offline Marketing individual/office.

I agree. It can be a big asset if you decide to target local clients. I don't see how using email marketing would not work, with your niche it may be difficult, but people travel a lot, using that to your advantage could help when they have to think of a place to eat near you.

Quoted for truth, if you are running an offline business that requires your attention it's totally unefficient to try to do this stuff yourself. If I want seafood, I don't grab my fishing rod, too.

Perhaps for your type business, you should explore telemarketing, voice message broadcast marketing, mobile marketing and direct marketing like with post cards and such. The email campaign can still be in the mix on the backend.

It depends on your website too, if its an information website, you dont want to 'spam' people with stuff only an update on the site of whats new maybe, however if your selling a product its a totally different marketing tactic that sometimes has to be even better than your website to gain sales

I don't know what to think about email marketing, i receive so much spam, like 100 a day, and it goes directly to the spam folder

In your particular case, Facebook and social media in general will work better than email marketing. You are aiming for a community feel, for interaction while email marketing uses the old rules of direct mail.

I suspect that most successful Internet Marketers would disagree with you on this. I also suspect that you mistake spamming for email marketing.

When people say email marketing is dead I suspect that they have never tried it or been successful using it. It's simply another avenue to generate trust, traffic and of course revenue. With email marketing you can build lifelong buyers and develop amazing relationships.

Even as technology increases all these new tech gadgets still connect to email. People still use these gadgets to check email.... it isn't going anywhere for a long, long time
