Hey guys,
I'm new in email marketing and I need help in increasing my subscribers. I want my site visitors to actually subscribe. How do I do this, any tips?

Offer some FREE ebooks to increase your subscribers and make forum postings in relevant forums. If you have high quality products you can buy solo ads too.

Thanks for the tip. I'm using Aweber Autoresponder and really having problems in finding subscribers. I want someone to subscribe before providing ebooks and other free stuffs.

You cant find much subscribers if you do not provide any stuff. Make microsite with a free ebook or a software, make forum posts to get visitors aso...

with your free e-book go to things like backpage(dot)com or many others, up sell your free stuff and get them to sign up-- just use more then one, or 5 , or 10 --- you get the idea...

I would suggest offering a eCourse rather than giving away one time free eBook. You can make eCourse by making its weekly (or monthly) series and offer them to your subscribers. This way people keep more interest and wants to know more about what you'll get offering in next eCourse series..

Look at other successful marketers in your niche, study their squeeze pages, the headlines, what kind of freebies are they offering. You don't need to reinvent the wheel, just apply what is proven to be successful.

Update your blog with information which is unique and useful for your readers. If they readers find your blog full of useful information they will subscribe for their own benefit.

I setup a squeeze page like this The Secret To Traffic Traffic Genaration : The Secret To Traffic. Its only thing is to collect emails it converts at around 45%. You offer a free book so they sign up.

* Bribe them, by giving them something free (ebook, book, free CD, audio, video, DVD)

Make sure you're getting targeted traffic that match with the offer, give them something they really want.

Another very good way is to make sure that there is a large call to action button/area

You need to offer Free stuff in exchange for someones name and email at a squeeze page. Make sure what you are offering is something of value and something people want.

I would say stand out in your crowd. I.e. if most people in your niche seem to be giving away a few good emails but not giving an ebook, give an ebook away to get them to opt in. However, in many niches people are already doing that, so you could always 1-up them and give away a 10 video e-course and then provide great follow up value.

It all comes down to value. So when you decide what to give them, put yourself in their shoes first. Then think will this offer:

1.Benefit me
2.Help me in some way
3. or does it just help the creator...

If you can say YES to the first 2 chances are it will be great for your potential subscriber. If you say YES to number it probably won't convert as well as you'd like it to.

Finally, test. If you create an offer and you're driving traffic to it and it's no converting well, change it. Testing is critical but it's also something most people never do.

How about scrapping email from the wild sources and then convert them to legit subscribers?

If you wanted to increase you subscribers I suggest you offer something free like ebooks but before they were able to get the freebie they should first sign up.

If you don't want to give ecourse- just write your first message with invite to read second message.
