put a javascript that when page load a dialogbox appear which asks users to get subscribe .. this is good idea ..

offer something that is for free to your visitors like giving them free ebook or free report or course.

I too think offing something free but with quality would get more subscribers. I have subscribe to several after watching their youtube tutorials about various things. That's another way.

I agree with the advice here in that you should offer something for free like a video course, ebook, newsletter, etc... Always provide valuable information!
