    Email marketing for Offline Company

Does anyone have experience using email marketing for offline companies?

I will be importing an email list for an offline client for email marketing, but am contemplating the idea of having a computer terminal in their business for the purpose of having people sign up for their newsletter.

Does anyone know if this would be a problem since all the subscriber IP's will be the same?

I am not an authority, but I would not expect that to be a problem.
    A) Most email companies allow you to import a list > meaning only one IP
    B) If you had customers fill out cards and then did manual entry they would all come from one IP.
    C) If it is double opt in the confirmation emails will come from their own IPs in most cases.

It may be a question that you want to put to a provider's support before signing on the dotted line.

    Thanks wink0r.

I thought that the subscriber IP's come from when they first fill out the request to join newsletter and not from the double opt-in email ... I will definitely double check that before selecting a company.

I know Aweber is always the most recommended, but I've found ImnicaMail to have quite a good selection of features in addition to free account in the beginning.

It wouldn't be sart to host your own newsletter mailing list, as most providers don't let you send more than a limited number of emails per day.
Always use an autoresponder service who are whitelisted and take care of all the processing.
You don't need more than a laptop/PC and an internet connection to go online with your business and/or run a newsletter.
