Some point is very helpful to get good business for use of email marketing.
1. Avoid Email Marketing During the Holidays
2. Avoid Mistyped Addresses by Requiring Retyping
3. Create a Clear Call to Action in Email Marketing Campaigns
4. Don't "Fix" Mistyped Email Addresses
5. Emphasize with Words, Not Exclamation Marks in Your Copy
6. Experiment with Link Placement in Newsletters

Email marketing during the holidays can be okay if they are appropriate. For example, a holiday food drive at your location, a charitable toy drop off, a warm 'holiday' wish, a special offer during the Christmas season. So, I could disagree with #1...

I would like to add 2 more tips :

- Avoid sending blatant promotional emails in the beginning emails (You need to build a TRUST first!)
- Unless you are running an ecourse or have a lot of followup emails planned, do NOT send out emails everyday (after a while, your response rate will go down)

yes, i agreed with your statement, what are i highlighted above, is the crucial part, if you don't put the unsubscribe link, you can be considered as spammers, beside many people give free stuff to their customer in order to remain the relationship longer

It is also very important to check the spam score of any emails before you send them out. Most autoresponder services provide this; if yours does not, Google 'check spam score of email' and there are a number of services available. You will usually get some idea of what you need to change about the email to improve deliverability.

Some of things I have come across to improve deliverability:

- If you use a free email address (Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc.) as the From address, some spam filters will consider this a sign of spam and may not deliver the message. I always make sure to use an email address or forwarder that I have created on one of my domains.

- Certain spam filters will consider an email done in HTML rather than plain text to be spam. From the results I have seen, use of HTML does reduce deliverability by a very small percentage, but not by much - maybe 1 or 2 percent. Still it is a factor.

Use your email campaigns to educate and inform your subscribers, rather than just blasting out an offer every day or every few days. People buy from people they know and trust. You need to earn that trust by giving them good information that is helpful on an ongoing basis. Only then will they be responsive to the occasional offer.

So Billbrine, according to your experience, do we need to use free autoresponder service or paid autoresponder service, i read a lot about free autoresponder issues, many emails doesn't deliver well and also the email not reach the exact time as we set

Yes you are.. but you just need to collect the quality of mailing lists that are targeted to your niche before you can make money from it, billbrine post conclude everything about making money from mailing list

You can sell your product by your e-mail list, although something I don't do I used to sign up to blogs which did them ie Micheal Dunlops blog, most likely got alot of sales out of it

i experienced that kind of abuse....... the first month is totally OK, the email content share some tips, great info, then the next 2 month, the email content seems like to twist a little bit to make people buy certain product.... and the next month, OMG, the email content is full of affiliate links promotion
