Thread: How to do mass mailing to over 1 million email address? Is anyone offering this service?

My friend has bought a legitimate emailing list from a reputable vendor in the US, but now the question is how to send our email maketing campaign to over 1 million addresses?

Mailchimp, aweber, etc...

Depends on what he is selling too [if it's something specialized this could be a very ineffective way to advertise, but if it is a popular item a one time mailing might be worth it]

Who is selling such giant email list? What is a real good price for such lists?

I'm not sure any VPS provider would let you do mass mailing like to list of 1 million addresses. You will need a professional mailing list services like Nemanja suggested.

Anything ouer 50k-75k mails per day going to be expensive.

For example at serversmtp sending 1 Mill mails per month cost you $ 895.00.

I've been doing mass mailing in the past. Didn't use any software but simply created a list of emails in MS Excel, wrote the content in MS Word and then combined the two. The email was sent to all the recipients by my outlook account. I sent over 50 mails daily.

in my country mass mailing is not allowed and can be punished by law. because here you need to become a permission from users to send them emails advertisement. How it is in your countries?

We have all the permission here. No problem about mass mailing.

I don't think spamming is allowed in single country around the world. When you do mass mailing using list like 1 mil contacts you tend to make at least several people angry. This is why unsubscribe link is a must.

The way we worked, there was no unsubscribe option but a disclaimer reading that if you have received in error, please send us an email not to disturb you again. And I only got one or two emails a month to remove their address from our list and I did that instantly. So I didn't make too many people angry all the time.

You can manually control it when it's like 50-100 mails per day but for those who sending 10k plus mails daily need an automated system for that. Those paid mailing lists provide you all these tools and make your life easy. That if the price is right. I haven't used mail list a yet. But I'm in process of adding one of someone my main sites.

Yeah I guess you are right. Since i never had to mail 10k people in the same date I didn't need any software for that.

get people optin using wpsubscribers etc from your blog and
how to get them is from advertising your squeeze page thro
solo ads or thro popup ads etc from relevant channels once
good number of people are accumulated just email them your
offers again and again and make more profits easily..........

I made a whole lot of money using bulk email about 5 years ago. I used a company called auto responder dot net. they have servers based out of the U.K. and not once did I get in trouble for spamming. I bought the cheapest Geneology list I could find and I sent out campaigns of 10,000 at time 10 to 20 times per day. I dont even know if this company is still in business but search for one with over seas servers that way you stay out of trouble.

Because you need more post before able to posts or use signature. It's just a precaution to get rid of spammers. IMtalks has lot to offer for webmasters so check the forum and be part of it.

You used it like 5 years ago so many the service no longer available. I checked the site and now it get redirected to somewhere else.

Thanks blue arrow about the explanation about the links. I completely understand that. I used aweber with a lot of success but made sure I used a very polite opt in message and had a page set to apologize when they clicked the do not add button. My experience even with the high dollar lead list for email marketing was I achieved the same customer click ratios and virtually the same conversion ratios. I dont know? does anyone else feel that email marketing may be kind of a thing of the past for unless it is opt in through a website like IMT so you know these people want to be contacted but a one million message campaign.... I've been there and done it.... just not sure it would work in todays marketplace.

Quick reply here yvancg I posted yesterday and as I thought on this more I remeber being kicked off aweber for spam they have a notice saying no purchased list can be used. I just dont want to see you waste money. I am going through my old records for you because I have a name of smaller companies that gave you proof of delivery and they were great to me. so if you dont need the list please just IM my and let me know. I should have some company names for you within 2 hours..

So Aweber only let you use the mails you have collected by your site ? I didn't know this. All mails sent out has unsubscribe button so I don't know why they have to do that. Also their service is quite expensive.

Aweber has a quality service that they must protect. Most lists available for purchase will contain scraped email addresses. Using scraped email addresses will draw spam complaints. To maintain their good name they will need to close those accounts and make amends with the spam blacklists. It is not worth the bother for them.

True. I thought they must be the most expensive out there but they are not.
