Regarding Bulk Email Software a Doubt

    hey guys hy

thing is that now i am thinking to develop a software in which i wanted to send mails via proxies ..

by proxy i mean live free proxies available in market now a days ...

    5 mails goes from 1 proxy ..

remaining 5 will go from different proxy ..

so that google or any other website cant track our local ip ...

so is there any way with which we can send mails via proxies .. ??

or any alternate way through which we can send mails successfully via localhost and at localhost our own system's ip can keep changing .. ??

I suspect that you will find that many, if not most, of the free proxies are on the various spam block lists.

If you are asking about the block lists do a search for spamhaus, sblsorbs, and spamcop. Many ISPs use one of the blacklist services in their spam filtering either directly or indirectly throughj another service. The major webmail portals may also maintain their own lists.

I have reported with spamcop.net for many years. I just checked and SpamCop has processed 312,000 spam emails in the last 24 hours. If I see a spam run where I get multiple copies of a piece of spam to different email addresses often the IP is listed as an open proxy. You can be sure that any IP addresses used to send spam will be listed by one or more of the block lists within a few hours.

They will all end up in the blacklists eventually. If you use any free proxy list or scrape your own proxies most will already be in the databases. If you are depending of falsified header information. that will do little good as the reporting software looks at the sending server rather than the email header.

An optin email list is a legitimate instrument and can be of great value if handled properly.

Spamming is not a legitimate operation. It is theft on several levels. The philosophy of spamming is to send a huge amount of emails knowing that only a small percentage will be delivered. Of the small percentage that are delivered only a small percentage will be opened. Of the small percentage that are actually opened only a small percentage will be converted. Obviously, some people make money by spamming or there would not be a spam problem.

Spamming is against the terms of service of all the major ISPs and is listed in the TOS of most shared (at least) hosting. You can loose your internet service or hosting service without refund over spamming.

what if we purchases new ip lists from market and keep rotating same ip list as fresh list won't be in any spamming database ..

and i do agreed with you wink0r .. that is why i always build up my list at my own and use double opt-in database only ..

but here main question is doing bulk emailing either in free or in lower cost ..

A clean list of IPs/private proxies would increase the delivery rate for a short time as long as the heuristic filtering applied by the ISPs/webmail providers does not catch the message. The filtering technology has gotten pretty good. This does add an expense item to the business, though.

I seldom see spam emails in YaHoo Mail or HotMail or my ISP email these days. Most of the spam that I see comes to my various site email addresses. Most hosting companies offer spam filtering as a paid service, but I don't see the need to pay for the service.

I think that most of the major spammers are either bot herders themselves or hire the services of a bot net to send their spam.

now for example i know every big isp like google and yahoo has limit and spam filteration in their server ..

but i have trick to rotate same .. for example if we integrate one module in our website like we can send only 100 mailes per hour in server of gmail if any 101 mail will about to go than it will be applied in qued mode and at pefect time it will resumed and good to send

so with this manner with using new ips and applying timestamp we can do it all legally

what is your view on same

Altered time stamps trick my email client but do not trick the spamcop analytic software.

Obviously, there is little problem with finding a way to send spam emails. The real problem that a spammer faces is getting the email delivered and opened. YaHoo mail was, and probably still is, my most spammed email address. It is an account that I established when I first got online and didn't know my way around. I seldom see a spam email in my inbox these days, although there are many in the spam folder. The same is true of HotMail and other webmail accounts to which I pay attention.

If an email does make it past the blocklists and heuristic filtering it still must convince the user to open it and act on the content. That is where social engineering enters the equation.

I made a quick visit to spamhaus.org because they used to list the percentage of email traffic that was spam. I didn't see that listed but there is a lot of information about spam in general and the available tools to fight spam and spammers on the site. Anyone considering getting into the business would probably be well advised to visit the site to know a bit about what problems they will face.

How long has it been since you checked YaHoo? I just checked my inbox there today. Over the last month here was only one or two spam emails in the inbox and 419 in the spam folder that had never made it to the inbox. They changed their filtering a few months ago and since that time I have seen very few spam emails in the inbox. There were a few false positives in the spam folder, but marking them as 'not spam' seems to whitelist the address so that they go to the inbox.

I have a gmail account but seldom check it. I have no experience with sify. What gets through will depend on the filtering algorithms and reporting services that the email provider uses.
