I started doing my facebook pages on a landing page of my website months ago. I am going to explain what I mean without sounding spammy.... I promise. I own fusionfinish.US so i created a landing page using the meta tags from my facebook page then simply naming the page fusion finish | Facebook then I was able to add backlinks to the page and ping it just as a regular URL. I had 95 likes Monday morning at 8am when I came home at 3pm I had 136 likes. Now I am at I think 164 or 162. Point is..... Might be worth considering because 90% of those likes happened in a 48 hour period and other than the work and post I have done here at IMTalk Thats been the extent of my facebook advertising. Hope this helps someone and / or gives someone a better advertising platform for their facebook page. I would be interested to know in the comments below what yall think!

I am not very sure that i understand your post clearly. That means you create a landing page on your website with the name Fusion Finish | Facebook and then embed it with the Like button or for your fanpage?

I use my face book page is facebook.com/fusionfinish
so I did 2 different things I created a landing page on my site which is fusionfinish.US then titled that landing page facebook.com/fusionfinish then created meta tags with facebook.com/fusionfinish in the title,description and key words. In the description I used the same description I had used on my facebook business page. when they land on my page there is a button that says see us on facebook then the button is labeled facebook.com/fusionfinish they click the button (anchor text) and go to my facebook page. this allows me to advertise my landing page much better because it is http://example insteap of https://example.
the 2nd thing I did was simply created a page on my site then forwarded that url to my facebook so i can market that as an http://example. too this way I can build backlinks to my facebook page and ping my facebook page because most pings will not honor the https://example way.
