The question is what if I upload a video on youtube and I want to make it for only my friends not for public, is it possible??

Yes when you upload your video there are many option you tube gives you. You can select Private and specify the people that are allowed to see it. Upload your video and try you will see, it's pretty easy.

Yes just set it to private

Set it to private and send the link to your friend to watch it.

By setting it to be private it will not show up in youtube search, you will receive a url that you will be able to send to your friends.
