TWITTER has refined its technology so it can censor messages on a country-by-country basis

"Some differ so much from our ideas that we will not be able to exist there. Others are similar but, for historical or cultural reasons, restrict certain types of content, such as France or Germany, which ban pro-Nazi content," Twitter said.

Probably its a good way to "conquer" other countrys like iran and china.
But now can also censor other 'uncomfortable' contnet like citizens questions about sopa/pipa/acta projects

i do agree certain types of content (that can hurt others especially humanity issues, religion issues) must be censored for the sake of internet community and also the world, twitter also is a place for scammers/cheaters, so that kind of issues must take into consideration also
