From where you can get more traffic, Twitter or Facebook ?

Also traffic from which converts better ?

My answer is Facebook, and facebook traffic has a good conversion rate than the twitter as I know

In my point of view you can get traffic from both websites, but if you want to get targeted traffic than Facebook is good. And also you can get instant traffic or ranking from Stumbleupon.

I thought we can get more targeted traffic from twitter since it works like mailing list too.

Twitter is excellent resource to generate highly targeted traffic. I've been success in CPA by using Twitter targeted traffic. I don't use Facebook for traffic..

This is what I believe too. twitter traffic is lot better than what you get from social bookmarking sites like Stumble Upon.

Stumble Upon traffic only to increase alexa rank and fews ad clicks

Also it's pretty hard to promote things at Stumble. They ban sites and have pretty strict rules.

Yea, its possible. I said Facebook, because I get more traffic from it. My twitter followers are mostly crap followers. So I don't get much hits from it

Usually Twitter followers you get through your site are very good. But those who just follow you so you will follow them are useless.

Facebook is the king platform for social media optimization. specially on facebook you can live chat with your users that what are they demanding or like to you.

Yeah, I think I've to make it long

A common topic at all major webmaster forum...I always like facebook rather than Twitter. Normally facebook give me 5-8% of whole site traffic and I don't think this amount is that much bad....

I agree with you but i think its all about strategy and schedule that how well you deal with your social users

as per my exp. I get batter responded from FB.

Its Facebook for sure, face Book has a high rate of traffic than compared to Twitter.

I think both sites have their own worth we should not compare these site, both are good for traffic.

whenever i need to do Social Media on Social networking sites, i am preferring to go on Twitter, because it had a good response for generating traffic to my website. Facebook is also good for it.
