Facebook is an appalling spy machine ?

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange says Facebook, Google, and Yahoo are actually tools for the U.S. intelligence community !!
What do you think about this ? is is true ?
Before few weeks from another media I heard something about Facebook censorship, but it was not very clear. Share what you know about this matter...

Speaking to Russian news site, He reportedly said that the information Facebook
houses is a potential boon for the U.S. government if it tries to build up a dossier 
on users. "Facebook in particular is the most appalling spying machine that has ever been
invented," Assange said in the interview, "Here we have the world's most comprehensive database about people, their relationships, their names, their addresses, their locations and the 
communications with each other, their relatives, all sitting within the United
States, all accessible to U.S. intelligence."

Well it could be used by any person to spy on you because all your info is on there.

There is a group of Master User Group on facebook.
Cops are there in that group. They can access any profile information without any query being asked.

becoming a friend is not very easy now a days because of few reasons
- people usually don't accept others if they are not friends
- facebook also limit sending requests to unknown people

however, what u said is also possible to do!!

they got all of our data (if we share or put at the bio section), maybe it is easy for them in the future if something happen, they can control the world
