Thread: Facebook VS Twitter...

There are so many social networking sites, the most popular are Facebook and Twitter, which one is the best for promoting?

facebook for sure, because it has more members than twitter and more options like pages and groups.

You have to look at each one differently with a plan and purpose in mind. In the case of Facebook or Twitter here's my approach.

Facebook is a relationship. It takes care and lots of interaction to get quality likes and fans. I utilize facebook for longterm relationship building with an emphasis on a well rounded plan to keep people up to date and active.

Twitter is my go to BANG! It's quite easy to build followrs fast. The approach for me is more instant, no real relationship just sort of instant style gratification. I use it mostly for quick hits like Buy get one free type offers. I do alot of scheduling to keep the messages going but remember these are seen briefly.
