Hey! You must have probably found what you were looking for already. But if you didn't, there's plenty of third-party apps there that can help you do that. For instance, you can use the app StorySaver, or Instagram Downloadr. Also, you can always create Highlights and save the Story you're interested in in your account permanently. Hope it helps

There are quite few methods of download IG stories. If the account is public then you can use the online services if not then just use screen grabber or screen recorder and "save" the story
