Thread: Creating Facebook Landing Page - Tutorial

I know some of the newbies does't know about facebook fan page. Simply you can drive traffic to your blog using the fan page system. More traffic you get, more you earn!

First, view this page: Hack Tutors | Facebook

You'll redirected to the "Welcome" tab automatically and this is called landing page.

If you like the above page, then just follow the following steps to create yours same as that.

1. Go to FBML application and click "Add to My page" to the left sidebar as shown below:



2. New pop-up window appears with your page. Click "Add to Page" button from pop-up as shown below:



3. Now, go to your page and click "Edit Page" to the left sidebar. Click on the "Applications" tab and again click "Go to application" link of FBML as shown below:



4. Give a appropriate title to your landing page and paste the code from this file. Click "Save Changes" button.



6. Once again, go to page fan page and click edit page (from the left sidebar). Click "Manage Permissions". From "Default Landing Tab:" option choose the name of your landing page that you have just given in step 4. And "Save Changes".

Now, finally you're done! I hope this tutorial helps you.

Definitely! You can put CSS and HTML for more professional design! And this is the way to create awesome landing page

Great tutorial Anup - thank you. Do you measure how much traffic you get from Facebook? If so, has it been a good source of targeted traffic for you?

Facebook is my 3rd traffic source and I mostly receive visitors from USA because almost all of my Facebook friends are from USA

I'm guessing first is google

If 1st is Google...what the 2nd ? I don't think so that twitter better than FB in driving traffic

Definitely, first one is Google and second one is from the link where I placed while creating blogger template and this is the referral traffic. My blogger templates got much more popularity as I expected. Many (100s) of blogger users are using my blogger template and refer to my blog. I can say this is a type of traffic source

Facebook, 3rd traffic source. Looks promising. I thought just Facebook is of no Use. But I also heard today that People even get sales from their FB Page. Gonna see and try what the heck is all this.

It seems it is not possible to add static FBML if you don't have a personal FB account. The add option is missing... too bad.

How you gonna make fan page without facebook account? lol.

Easily. You don't have to have a facebook profile in order to create a fan page. You do have a facebook account. For example I cannot "like" anyone because I don't have a profile, but I can manage my facebook pages.
