Question Does it bother anyone else that when you use facebook login on a site or forum

That site wants to access all of your face book information. I am actualy kind of new to facebook and I was doing something earlier today and it said login using face book. OK that will save some time, then it wanted to access all of my contacts and everything. No thank you!

All the applications give this warning that they want to access your account information so that they can post on your behalf. Whenever you are outside facebook and move to use any application and then if you try to login using your facebook username and password then the application gives a warning that it wants to access your account information. In my opinion, check the reputation of that application and if too many users have joined then you also join. One more solution of this problem is create one more facebook account with new information so even if the application wants to steal your data then also it will get nothing.

Thats a good Idea! I know it is meant to make the sign up process easier but I just don't understand why they need access to my friends ?? that kind of throws me off. It gives me a red flag of something not being right!

Actually all applications are not meant for stealing information but exceptions are everywhere and I have already discussed the best way to stay safe. Applications ask the details of your friends so that updates can be posted directly.
