I'm thinking about removing all the affiliate networks that are script based. It would clean up sites dramatically, and make them much faster. I would only be using ad networks with custom links and text.
Any ideas?

I read an article earlier in the year that largely supported your thoughts on this. Regular internet users become blind to banner ads. They are not as effective as they once were. Many have found that in context text links are the most effective ads. It has also been recommended to use locally hosted images and link through to the affiliate product page in addition to the text link ads. Give people several options to get to the product page. Also, scripts below the fold are less of a problem as the browser can draw the page above the script while waiting for the data the script is calling, making the page appear faster in the browser window.
I have to ad that I would probably only return to a site if it didn't look purely for money purposes (i.e. not cluttered with ads)
Ben
Less adsense can definitely = more money, because it helps the page load faster(which is nice considering many users are impatient) and because the user doesn't feel spammed. In terms of adsense ad's in particular even though you're allowed max 3 a page i've noticed having 1 or 2 helped with SEO(i'm still testing this for confirmation) but that seems to be the case. Websites are moving towards more personalized anyway, users want to feel a part of something, not just another guys sale, and with all the competition out there you need to offer more value by treating people like people.
When it comes to Adsense, less ads on your page results in higher average CPC since there are more ads competing for the limited space on your site. Subsequently, more ads means lower CPC.
Yeah I agree with this, but till a limited extent coz keywords for the targeted content also matter as page with more ad slots on high paying keywords can earn more money as compared to few ads on low keywords ad slots.
Try to find what your visitors are looking for and promote. Use text links or some type of search function. People love to search (best way to earn money)
I think less code-to-content ratio in general is better. Some java and html ads are so bulky. This can look nasty to spiders, especially above the fold. I put maybe a text ad and one sidebar above the fold and the rest below after on of those panda revisions last year. Seemed to work out ok.
Use iframes for such ads.Quote:

You should increase the ads on your website to earn high money because visitors will click on these ads and you will earn more.
By increasing ads, I think it would be tough to handle with spamming, though website occur a problem like speed.
