How much do you sell links for?

in general how much would you ask for a link on a PR3 site? We get approached to add links to our blog, never quite sure how much is the right amount to request.

PR3 site with 10 visitors/day and PR3 site with 10000 visitors/day can be priced bit differently. No one can answer that question without more info.

In addition to traffic the niche or at least the broad category can make a significant difference in what a buyer might be willing to spend.

When negotiating prices start a bit high so you will have a little bit of room to move. If they say 'yes' too fast you probably left some money on the table.

My site is PR 0 and I get paid $20 for the link. I think it depends on the niche you have. If you have same niche with those who want to buy a link from you, you can charge it more.

Besides what has already been mentioned, it also matters WHERE they want this link. A link from an actual PR 3 page is worth more than a link from a random page on a PR 3 domain. Big difference.

It depends on which category you are asking and also on context link or site wide link.

unless you sell your links as NoFollow, your site could get into trouble. It's no secret Google doesn't like link selling or buying. But it's strange that popular linking selling/buying site TextLinkAds have a PR6 !

Its also in the webmaster guidelines that the links either need to be set to nofollow, or they need a robots.txt file pointing to the links to make sure they aren't accessed by the googlebot. It puts a damper on selling links, but then again, link diversity isn't about dofollow links only

Price of links depends on the Niche of your website (mainly) and the PR of your website (secondly)

Depends on type of the website and the efforts you have put into it.
A person might not purchase a link on a sales page but he might be interested in a similar blog.
