Adf.ly is an URL shortening service from witch you can make money by every shorten url. Today there are plenty of websites out there that gives you the opportunity to shorten your links in order to make them more appealing or to hide where the link actually leads. However adfly is still the best choise.

How does adf.ly works?
For every ad in your links that someone sees you will make money. The ad shows for 5 seconds before you can click “skip ad” and continue to the links destination. The amount of money you make is about $0.5 to $4.7 per thousand views, this depends from where the ad is showen.

Ways to make money online with ad.ly

Displaying interstitial ads
Displaying interstitial ads in your links is the highest paying alternative. If you shrink a link with an interstitial advertisement in it people will see full screen advertising before they can continue to the links destination.

Using a framed banner
Using a framed banner is a less “painful” alternative for everyone that clicks on your link. This is because the ad will not take up the whole screen; instead it will only show a banner at the top of the browser.........

My input on adf.ly from a Internet user's perspective I close out my browser if an adf.ly page opens and do not visit the site again. From a webmaster's point of view I don't approve comments that link to an adf.ly page, either entry or exit. You may make some money from the program, but if others feel the way I feel the long term effect will be negative to your business.

Yea, I hate adf.ly. now I use adblock so that I don't have to watch the ads

And I agree, I think it shows negatively on your business if you have to start forcing people to watch ads

I don't think using adf.ly gonna make visitors happy. Only reason they wouldn't close then browser and exit from the site would be if they are looking for a software to download **** photos.

Haha lol. I sometimes wait through them but it does show really badly on the site. I guess everything is about making money these days

it only suitable for site with download activities.. they can earn big bucks ,that too traffic from U.S will pay more..

best way is: stimilate users to watch ads -adding download or warez, interesing lins hidden by adfly (works fine with over laying interesial ads)
but still need a traffic - that is easy as hell : rss autobolgs, doorway generators est that can get some traffic for money site.
another traffic method is spam comment.

But . If You arent owner of warez forum You must have alot of knowledge / expensive software / and time and resources for use them. but who do this for few bucks monthly? LOL
So probably You want to spam "manually" - that cost houndred of hours daily - I thnk you can find in 2 seconds any kind of work that can give You monthly adfly payday in hour

As a visitor, i think i will hate sites that using adf.ly. And its too long to get payout...

Using sites like Adf.ly or maybe Linkbucks is a real waste of time and effort :P

Strongly agree with you ... Those forced to watch ads are really irritating

I have one blog with decent traffic and there is no real option to monetize that blog traffic (had tried Amazon without any success). So I am using adf.ly on that blog and making stable $10/month. Good enough for those domain, hosting cost!

Normally people dont like to visit ads, so i had stopped using adfly and adfocus . As i dont want to loose my traffic.

You must receive TONS of traffic to monetize with this method...

I heard a lot of adult sites are making good more with sites like adfly.
