I have read somewhere that forum marketing is very easy to earn money as you would be able to earn good money from forums also.

Have you sold your products or services in forums?

Well, for me, I tried to sell my writing services but it is very hard to get any reliable client, how do you sell, please share with us.

first you need to gain trust from members in that forum, don't be to quick to start a thread as soon as you sign up the particular forum.. Help other members in that forum by giving helpful info and valuable tips, after a certain time, when members in that forum recognize you and give +rep, or +feedback score, you can open a thread a offer your services, you can also invite old members in that forum to give review about your services.. Then people who visit your thread will see you as forum's member that have high reputation in that forum.. so you can sell your product/services easily

I don't sell products through forum. But rather promoting a website in the forum. Forum marketing is helpful especially in getting good amount of traffic. It somehow helps your website (wherein you promote your products there) be noted among the masses.

yea, if you have a genuine product, there are some forums you can easily sell them and earn a good income

I don't think you're allowed to have affiliate links in the forum signatures, but writing services are probably allowed. I use forum marketing more for gaining knowledge and SEO.

The policies are set by the forum owner/admin. One should always look for the 'forum rules' or 'read before posting' section when signing up to post on a new forum. This forum happens to allow affiliate links in sigs but not within the post body.
