Yeah I like namecheap much better than godaddy. Overall they are much more affordable and don't hit you with as many upgrade/backend costs as godaddy does. I switched all my godaddy domains to namecheap over the last several months. If anyone else is thinking about doing this be sure to search for a promo code to get discount for transfers to namecheap.

For domain registration I use neither Godaddy nor Namecheap, but I use Gossimer, I don't know how many of you heard about them. But I am using them for more than 1 year now and never had problems.

I personally like namecheap, then dynadot... had bitter experience with godaddy!

Didn't heard about them ....

I suggest DomainKa and Namecheap to start. I have bought domains from these sites and I am satisfied with their service and assistance.

godaddy.com use to be very cheap. They have some good discounts if you know where to look, so start with that.

The domain name is the unique name that appears in the URLs for your web sites.
