Too expensive really I would hardly ever think of purchasing such experience domains especially been so new in this field. At the moment I am I am getting .Com domain at just 99 Cents from GoDaddy using “99Word” promo code so this is a kind of offer I love and with that price I can easily afford to have my own web site.

@ Damien, yes but those would be brand new domains with no PR, PA or DA and no age behind them. Also some of the OP's domains may be of interest to someone else.

One domain that isn't worth nothing to one person could be worth very much to another.

Also remember that the $.99 is just for the first year. At renewal time the price will be at the market price. The .info domains that I bought for $1.00 were actually $2.50 more on my last renewal than my .com TLDs. GoDaddy and others promote that low price knowing that most of those domains will be renewed at the market price a year from the sale date.

Mike - Yeah actually you are right mate it was just over excitement that got the better of me as mostly I am use to purchasing domains at around 8-9 USD so that’s what made me jump up but you are definitely spot on with the difference.

I put it down more to comfort level of the person I mean it could be different for all but just a web site I see with .Com I have more respect or kind of better feeling about that while with .info it still goes into category where we don’t rate it too much. Although this is completely my mindset so things can be very different with this and for 99 cents for one year I think that’s about the confident and the skills since if we make our site good enough then the income would be so much that it won’t matter if we give extra income for renewal so it’s basically the starting point where these discount are so great for newbies while after that either we are settled or just completing lacking interest and also I won’t blame GoDaddy for having this mindset that it would have to be renewed at market price since it’s a kind of policy they must have otherwise having the original price would be just too useless.

Very true. And you can only buy them with a credit card. You cannot use PayPal for the 99c domains. And the renewal will be around $10 to $12. Also, you don't get domain privacy with the domain or any other extras. Personally some people don't mind but some do depending on what the domain is and what it will be used for etc you might not want it associated with your current name and address.

That said, I have been snapping a lot of 99c GD domains up recently and flipping them for anywhere from $20 to $100 or more depending on the domain / site / buyer way before they are up for renewal so not my problem them and Im still up.

And if I don't sell it, I can either decided to renew it or not when it's due depending on if the site is a success or not come the domain renewal reminder email.

I really need to expand on this.
