Anyone know a good free XML site map tool which I can use from computer ? I used to have one but I can't remember the name of that software.

I bought the script from Create your Google Sitemap Online - XML Sitemaps Generator you host it yourself, it is not expensive and no limits on the number of pages you can use it on. Works great too.

couldn't you do it with xml-sitemaps site ? if the site has more than 500 pages, get their premium version.

When you have over 250 pages sometimes it get stuck and even miss pages. This had happened several times so I found a good desktop application for this. I lost it when I formatted the computer.

thiat didn't happen to me. However if your site has more than 500 pages all together, free version is not suitable,. have to buy the premium version and its for unlimited pages. Big forums also can use it without a problem. Just $20 as i remember.

Have you ever had any problems with free or premium versions ?

Several times site froze on me which creating sitemaps for 250+ pages. Since then I don't use it for sites which has more than 100 pages.

maybe you got that problem because of some other reason !!

Yes this is definitely a great tool. I agree with Riba

can any one give some external tutorial link to follow

I am still looking for free version to make site maps for huge sites, i can not buy things online right now, if i do not get, i will make a script by my self to do it.
