Yes use the backlinks not directly on your website, but on your first layer of web 2.0 to make them stronger.

I use it this one really a good service for mass ping the url.

i used this Previously Really a Nice tool to Work on !
I really don't no How much it is affective as few time my most of the Links was not get Index !

It looks pretty similar to the IMT website submitter but does have some more websites added in their list so probably worth the try!
