Thread: Backlink Relevant Content Importance

Has anyone taken the time to get factual data that shows a back link WITH relevant content vs. a back link with NO relevant content is really that much better as a back link? Or does the back link pr more important?

I hear a lot of conflicting information.

How to verify which ones get more weight in google's eye...

I know forum.blogs full of content which says relevant content is more improtant but where is data which proves that ?

Google sometimes does manual reviews, like people actually visiting your website and rating it. So if you have a high PR backlink, but isn't related to your website, then that link might be considered less important.

But Google's manual review does not see backlink or any other thing... They just visit site and see what site offers...
