Ever needed a free forum hosting provider well I did but got sick of providers either going down or deleting my forum so i decided to have a go. Why phpBB2 when phpBB3 is the current version?

thats a good question. well to be honist me and the support team wanted to get the service up and running and to make sure it does not flop before spending large amounts of money. Once the service is getting used then gettaforum.com will expand to other forum hosting scripts. e.g phpbb3. but for the current moment we are currently working on phpbb2.
