Well, I used the free version of SEO spyglass. It is no doubt good.

But after getting Market Samurai I never touched it

But for free it is simply awesome and does a good job

actually im happy to pay extra considering that seospyglass can give me 200K backlinks and give me accurate results... now for desktop app thats rockin (imo) so it seems that for a free tool seospyglass is in the win, for price conscious folks MS is a better bet and spyglass for those quality conscious seo perfectionists

I agree. After using reg'd versions of IBD and WebCEO, I was skeptical about the link-assistant suite of tools. After using them for a day I plunked down the cash for the Enterprise. The reports aren't as pretty as IBD, but "pretty" isn't why seo tools are used. Ugly and full of great info is perfectly fine for me. The learning curve is steep, but you are rewarded with more information than you will ever need. Better more than not enough, the auto updating is sweet, and they definitely over delivered on this software.
