my sister likes to use powerpoint but the one she has is suddenly running dirt slow. Anyone have any suggestions on power points to use?

Go to OpenOffice.org and download the equivalent Microsoft Office for free.

Absolutely, OpenOffice.org is amazing. I have an older computer and it works better than anything I have found that can be run on my PC.
