Thread: Who's your favourite band?

I'm a big music fan but am always looking for new artists that I might have overlooked. What is your favourite band?

It does change over the years but currently I'm loving the Shout Out Louds - I think they are from Sweden. Nice quirky pop stuff

My primary business has been in the music industry providing production services for live music. I have a few live recordings post at The AudioArt MusicPlayer.

I like to listen various music styles: rock, hip-hop, some nice house...
I don't like lady gaga and all that new shit

I listen to a lot of hard rock/metal... Atreyu, Avenged Sevenfold, Killswitch Engage etc. Some hip hop but only the good stuff none of that fake mtv crap lol

I like a bit of hip hop and rap too, 2Pac is the king!

I used to listen to Linkin Park but I am not sure where they are now these days. More of a Eminem follower now.

Well i love to play all kinds of music but when the word come like band they i always prefer to listen "BAND OF BOYS".My fav song is GORI. i love it .i always used to play it my mini theater.

I love almost all genres of music and too many bands to list.

The only genre I hate is Death Metal. Too loud for me!

I'm an oldie, Scorpion, Aerosmith, Metallica, Led Zep to name a few...

Favourite... wow, that's a hard one. There are so many!

Like many on here I'm a fan of many different styles of music. Don't like much new stuff though. Very few new bands can hold a candle. I don't even think many new bands can be classified as music. Where's the talent nowadays?

Metallica is in the top. Lincoln Park too. The Beatles AFTER they started doing drugs. Pink Floyd, of course. Beethoven (you gotta love the classics!) Louis Armstrong. Scatman John (more as an inspiration).

Recently I've been listening to Apocalyptica If you've never heard them go to YouTube and look up some of their Metallica remakes like Nothing Else Matters. Crazy amazing.

I tend to prefer 80's music, probably because that was the era I grew up in. Hard to pick a favorite though. I've been listening to a lot of Phil Collins lately.

AC/DC, linking Park, Led Zepplin, Deff Leppard, Scorpions, Metallica, Poison, Alice Cooper, Gorky Park, 80's like Nik Kershaw, Black, Depeche Mode, and a few japanese artists like T.M Revolution, Yui, Hata Motohiro. The list is endless. Usually it works like this, When I am angry, I listen to Rock and Metal. When I am painting, I listen to either trance, psytrance, or classical music. When I am working, I listen to my Japanese music. for everythng else there's the 80's
