Not sure if a password with a "system" behind can be called "strong"

I prefer creating passwords with KeePas..

Use mkpasswd utility on linux for strong password. Use man mkpasswd to understand the options available.

I know something even simpler. The only way people can find ur passw besides spyware is by brute force. So try a simple but long sentence such as "ThePinkMagicalUnicorn" and no matter how fast a PC is, it will take months or even years.
There are certain brute-force methods that use dictionarys, so perhaps just Misspell it and there you go.

IMO, the simplest way to avoid being dictionary hacked is to add one or more numbers and symbols to whatever your word is. I agree with the article posted in the OP and already use those methods to a degree. Mostly for sites that I use often. But when it comes to my site's FTP password I take it to another level. I don't even use a password I can remember easily. It's a bunch of random letters, numbers and symbols combined I keep saved somewhere safe.
