    What is your favourite OS?

    Hi Everyone

What is your favourite Operating System (OS)?

As far as I can see there is a few:

    Mac OS X
    Windows (Microsoft)
    Linux/Unix

Myne would have to be Mac as it is what I use regularly on my set-up

    Hope to see some replies

Mine is Mac OSX for sure but more specifically Mac Lion OSX and I'm sure Mountain Lion will only be better.

Mac OSX updates are always that... Updates. They just get better and better.

It depends on what I am working on. My Custom Rig is using XP Home, My Laptop is using Vista Business, and my other laptop has XP Pro. There is one other desktop (also custom), but atm it has motherboard issues, but it is also running XP Pro. for now.

Nice. . I'm thinking of redoing one from the ground up. New board, RAM, SLI GPU and quad core chip. I'd still use XP tho. It would be a gaming rig, and I'm not a huge fan of DirectX 11. Most of the games I like run on xp anyway.

Yea, make sure you go with Intel for that. My dad got a quad-core AMD and it is really buggy

I am still with Win XP on the work boxes. I have Win 7 Basic on a netbook, but it is primarily a remote control for my Live Sound Computer. My next computer will probably have the latest and greatest version of Windows, but I don't know if that will be 7 or 8 or 8+. The current box (Intel E-8400 based) does everything that I need relatively well.

I feel more comfortable with Windows XP. Though in office I had to use the Windows 7
