Thread: A Short Commentary on Social Media

Ryan Healy is a copywriter/blogger that often has some interesting things to say. He posted a short commentary on Social Media today at: Metrics That Matter

He had this line in the post:

But it’s this second set of metrics that ALSO puts money in your bank account… and food on the table. You can’t afford to ignore these numbers.

It will only take a couple of minutes to read the entire post. I think that it will be worth both of them.

they were well spent, but it just goes to show how hard social networking is for business. It's not just making a page, and getting people to it. It's about as complex as backlinking or article marketing etc. It was a really good read. How though, would you show a complete n00b like me (social networking wise ) how not to be scared of doing everything it takes to market on social networking sites though?
