Why this forum quiet?

A few years ago I thought that forums are so nineties and that no one actually hangs out there anymore, looks for answers or participates in discussions - I actually thought there are no discussions, that forums are practically dead. I was really happy when I found out that situation isn't anything I've imagined. In my opinion, the main problem is that people nowadays like to be entertained, they are too lazy to put in some effort, to give something in order to get something back. Forums are not an "instant" thing and that's why I believe that imtalk may have some quieter times, but that people who seek genuine conversation will stay here.

Yes I kinda agree with this.
YT, blogs, FB, TW and TVs made it like this mostly, people like to be entertained and then at least leave their comments or opinions mostly short and they rarely get back to re check, because the are busy with the new stuff and new stuff is coming non stop, mostly junk and useless info.

Well hopefully the volume on this forum will increase, i am here hoping to learn, get advice, different points of view and throw my 2 cents into the mix
