Thread: What's wrong with DNS ?

Name Servers seems propped already but still sites not working.

It's an vps and im sure I have done dns templetes correctly in Kloxo and also Host Summary at Godaddy.

I use OpenDNS and they return:

ns1.stormdns.net returned (NORECORDS)
ns2.stormdns.net returned (NORECORDS)

That and the info you supplied makes me think there is a formatting problem with the records. You might recheck the records or replace them with newly created ones.

Well I have redone everything and restarted the node. Now Most of reds in report are gone and only 2 left. I added 2 domains and upload files but still both domains showing Kloxo default page. Even through proxy.

Plz check if these domains showing your Kloxo default page. That page is not there in domain folders. So you shouldn't see it if everything is right.

I am seeing the Kloxo message for the first link with and without the www. For the second link the www address is not loading but the message says the name servers are working. Without the www I see the Kloxo page.

I have never done this manually. The cPanel routine for setting up a domain must write the records. In at least one of my hosting accounts there is a cPanel option to make/update the records. I looked at it one time but don't know enough about it to do anything.

I have 2 Cpanel VPS and no problems like this ever happen.

This my un-managed vps So Im using Kloxo. But I don't remember having this problem when I did configure Kloxo last time.

Got it sorted out. It something wrong with Apache. Seem with latest Kloxo this happens.
