DNSBL, as I understand it, is primarily involved in the email spam battle. If you don't send bulk email from your domain you are not likely to be listed. It is probably good to check if you are on shared hosting, because all the other domains on the server will be sending mail from the same IP address. If someone else on the server is spamming your email could be marked as spam as collateral damage. The major hosting companies limit the email send rate to discourage spamming and keep their IP address space clean, but people still try occasionally.
