11 free alternatives for google analitics

Piwik and getclicky are my favorites. I've been testing with these as I am trying to get all the g00gle stuff off my sites. I don't want to fuel the beast anymore...

If using WP the JetPack plugin gives a lot of information and displays right in the admin UI.

Definitely. All you really need is a WP login as well, and you can access Jetpack. Its not the same with a WP hosted site though, as you can't really do anything unless you upgrade your blog. Would these work as well as Google Analytics?

Currently I only use piwik. it's good option for me beside Google analytics. It's free and offer a lot of stats for tracking our sites.

I Use Piwik..It helps me a lot..But i still miss Google Analytics

kissmetrics is not really free, it's a 14day free trial. and i know piwik but the others is new to me, thank you.

I do like to use different analytic services. I sometimes us handset detection for clients that i create mobile site for. They have a free service. But don't think that just because your not using GA that Google doesn't know what's going on. Be easy.

Tell me why You want to share with g$$gle all information about your site for few nice colored charts and some mysterious "not prowided" infos? piwik have 98% capabilities of "google anal" and dont spy you

Oh I am soooo switching. I am all about open source and non comercial alternatives. I even work on linux based computer.

Nice list. I recommend Piwik for everyone. Now I use only Piwik instead of Google Analytics. And I have to say it works perfectly.
