How big in MB is the database?
As long as it is under 50MB you should be able to restore from a backup you take before the move. I had a big database and needed help from hosting support to load the database, but the move was smooth with their help. WordPress has good information on how to move a site.

@wink0r yeah the backup files is ~ 35 MB but I am finding it difficult to upload it & restore the old data.
A couple of databases that I moved were several hundred MB. I could not load them through the restore function in cpanel so I created a folder in the root section of my hosting account and FTPed the files to that account. I then asked support to load the data into the databases. This is a simple matter if you know the MySQL commands and the hosting company support tech did it for me without problem. If you know the commands and have shell access you can probably do it through cpanel.

Its not hard.
01. Downloand all files using FTP
02. Goto MyAdmin and take a DB Backup
03. Import the DB Backup to MyAdmin in Cpanel ( new host)
04. Upload all files to new Host
05. Edit database info in config file
That's all.
If your new hosting account is a shared hosting account then you might need host support when you upload the DB. If your DB is bigger then you might need more memory which they need to update in php.ini file.
Thanks Guys for your support, done with migrating files. Waiting for domain propagation.
