    Compress files useing SSH

    Ehh, im a little new to this SSH thingy.. Or is it SSL... what the difference?

    Anyways..

    In this black scren im looking at whats the command to compress a folder to tar.zg? I know ho to navigate to the folder and I know how to extract it... But how to I compress it?

    using tar command (tar czfv resultname.tar.gz folderyouwanttocompress/ )

    #tar czfv Test.tar.gz Test/

    * be careful with the dark SSH, can destroy anything.
