Getting Hosting & Domain are two things.
You can buy domain from one place and host them other places.
Always have domain & hosting at two different places
Domain - Godaddy good to buy first then later at 6 months transfer to Namecheap.
Hosting - Still by far Hostgator is best

I think service wise good are pretty handy but in terms of pricing GoDaddy is head and shoulder above them and almost any other registrar. Currently their exciting offer of 30% discount with “30word” is just rocking! It goes without saying how much crazy people are for this as often they have to pay huge price on domain or hosting but this voucher is for all product so this much discount is tough to believe.

Godaddy used to be the best with their renewal discount codes but not anymore. Now a .com renewal cost you around $15. So unless if you have 100+ Domain names, NameCheap is better.
